All of the innovations in one fire station – at the INTERSCHUTZ

As exhibitor at the INTERSCHUTZ 2022, the world’s leading exhibition for fire services, rescue services, civil defense and safety, the LHD Group is providing the visitor the opportunity to enter its own fire station and personally gain an impression of both new and further developments. An important component of the “House” is the LHD CARE Sector. With the focus on the care and cleaning of protective clothing the importance of correct procedures during and following fire protection is placed in the foreground.

saVior:  new model in proven quality

As successor to the well-proven V-Force protective suit, the saVior is based on the many years of the cut and the features of the bestseller and has been adapted to suit in design and in a number of functional details. Accordingly, here, too, the incorporated feature for the integrated rescue system is also found in the saVoir so that it is possible to incorporate this as an option. The adapted reflex design in the jacket prevents friction in the vicinity of the respirator.

By means of the new suspender construction in the pants, an additional possibility for adjusting the length has been incorporated to further optimize the correct fit of the parts of the comfort suspenders. The particle protection solutions already incorporated and tested in the kinetic model are also available for the various models of the saVoir. Correspondingly it is possible to minimize intrusion of flue gases by means of the additional closures in the jackets and pants.

In addition to the proven material additives, the visitor to the INTERSCHUTZ will find the protective suit in new design with Nomex® NXT and segmented reflex strips of 3M™ Scotchlite^TM material.

For the first time, at the exhibition in June the LHD is presenting its saVoir protective suit in an even more economic market segment: the saVior ECO. Here, too, the proven wearing comfort and the ergonomic cut of the saVoir are to be found. The most important difference lies in the exclusion of the tunnel incorporated for the rescue system.

Further portfolio for all visitors

Those entering the fire station of the LHD at the INTERSCHUTZ can gain an impression of the various models offered in the globally distributed locations of the group.

The Kinetic X – a further development of the already nationally and internationally proven kinetic protective suit – will naturally also be on display. However, this is only a part of the total LHD portfolio. For example, our international sales staff will demonstrate further models for the visitor in practical form, for example, for South Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or Bordeaux.

Additionally, in view of the current climatic developments, a new Wildland concept is being presented for the German and for the international market.  

In addition to protective suits the group is, as usual, also presenting an overall view of the assortment for technical assistance, daily service clothing and accessories. Here, the TH Protective Suit which has been in operation for some years and the newly introduced soft shell jacket together with the Cooling Vest developed in cooperation with Teijin will also be on display.

LHD CARE – the service for your protective equipment

As a result of the new clothing solutions, professional cleaning and ensuring readiness by means of the emergency pool, the LHD group is making its contribution towards combating the high risk of cancer amongst the staff and supporting the educational work of the  Feuerkrebs gUG.
